…are both technically heiresses to Betty Crocker!

While we know why Jane is, let me tell you why Jade is.

Going to my favorite story in homestuck, Nanna’s, we can notice some details that when taken into account seem odd, like something done because it would complete a paradox or allow something to happen. Not really going with Condy’s personality or the feud between mother and daughter.

The whole passage goes like this:

If you skimmed this story or are out of focus, the grown man can only be one person. That would be Grandpa Harley, who earlier escaped from Condy with his dog Haley. (Much like what Grandma English did in the Alpha Timeline.)

So with Grandpa Harley finding a baby… that leaves her as the heiress to his companies, even if she doesn’t know it herself. One of his companies is Betty Crocker!

And interestingly enough, Condy could have just mind controlled everyone to obey or do whatever but instead only controls two girls.

Those two girls being heiresses.

Now since we met Jane Crocker in Act 6 I’ve been wondering why Condy had to bother with going to the beta session, finding the reason given sort of shitty.

Obviously this is not really a theory, because obviously nothing has happened to Jade to prep her mind for control other than perhaps obtaining dog bits and Vriska’s tampering(??? questionable for a cause.) I just thought this was very interesting that our two favorite ladies are controlled and heiresses…
